Here4Seniors is an advocate and a case management project that helps seniors receive the resources they need, advocates for seniors and helps seniors live their lives to the fullest.

Grocery Delivery

TBA: (THIS PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY CLOSED) We deliver groceries to seniors the second Saturday of every month.

Register: In the week leading up to the second Saturday of the month, please register by visiting us (512 Ocean Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07305), calling us (201-706-2884), or emailing us.

Diaper Distribution

We provide Diapers to babies and Depends to seniors citizens on a monthly basis.

Register: During the first week of each month, please register by visiting us (512 Ocean Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07305), calling us (201-706-2884), or emailing us.

Pick up: Pick up on the last Sunday of the month from 10AM - 12PM at 512 Ocean Avenue in Jersey City.

Items, Clothing, and Food Distribution

Available to the whole community, including seniors. No pre-registration needed.

Items and Clothing Distribution
When:
Thursdays, 10AM - 3:30PM
Where: 512 Ocean Avenue, Jersey City, where lightly used clothing and household items are set up outside, to find what you need.

Food Pantry
When:
The 3rd and 4th Friday of the month, 12:30PM - 5PM
Where: 512 Ocean Avenue, Jersey City

Determine Eligibility

Case managers provide one-on-one service to determine eligibility of services for senior citizens, evaluate and assess needs.

 
Information

Information and Resources

We provide a wide variety of information and refer senior citizens to other social service agencies, bringing awareness of available services provided by the Local, State, and Federal government subsidies to which they are entitled.

We develop, maintain, and monitor services provided by AngelaCARES and from referrals, and coordinate support services program.

We provide senior companions to senior citizens, needed items that have been donated, and more.

Once you speak with a case manager, you will receive information on services that meet your needs, such as:

  • Awareness Workshops (education)

  • Prevention Workshops (education)

  • Advocacy for Meals on Wheels, Service Providers, etc.

  • Attend Senior Events

  • Connect2Check Calls
